Does Life Truly Get Easier?

The answer is tricky, but there is something you can do.

You feel tired. You feel like you’re struggling more than you should. Little problems bother you more than you should. Or big problems seem absolutely insurmountable.

When you’ve gone through this process of solving one big problem in life and others crop up like pesky weeds, it adds to your general feeling of exhaustion. If you’re feeling like this, you might be languishing. It might seem like a good idea to “suck it up” or ignore those feelings, but that rarely does bring about any solutions. I’ve told myself to “tough it out” so many times, but it’s not always an attitude that will really make your life feel like it’s easier.

It’s very easy to fall into the happily-ever-after illusion.

You might not think you have. We all know these things on a factual, logical level. But sometimes, some part of you might still be thinking this way.
